The Best and The Worst Dresses at 83rd Academy Awards ( Oscar 2011 )

 Best Dress

Mila Kunis in Elie Saab
Mila never fails to impress me; this time she wears a blue Elie Saab dress that accentuates her body perfectly, showing the right amount of skin, the laces give a very delicate and romantic feeling. Her updo and natural makeup complete the look. My favorite dress at Oscar this year.

Camilla Alves in Kaufman Franco
Lovely dress on exotic woman. Extravagant and modern but not too over the top.

Natalie Portman in Rodarte
Natalie looks great. The plum color is elegant. The cut is perfect, showing the baby bump in the most flattering way. The bare shoulders balance the look.

Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Kline
Less is more. Just look at Jennifer, this red dress hugs her body perfectly; the hair and makeup are sexy, very age appropriate. Her look is simple, seductive, and very fresh.

Hilary Swank in Gucci
Shiny and sparkly! The sequins are gorgeous! The feathers add more drama to her look. Very Oscar worthy.

Halle Berry in Marchesa
The color is gorgeous, the embellishments are pretty. She looks like walking in the clouds! Just look at the bottom part.

Sandra Bullock in Vera Wang
This dress is fiery! I love everything about it, classic and admirable. I just hope Sandra was using some kind of necklace.

Michele Williams in Chanel
Very simple and understated but at the same time this dress is very unique. The beads are  gorgeous

Heilee Steinfeld in Marchesa
Age appropriate. It is normal for girls at her age to dress like a fairytale princess. She looks so adorable, sweet, and sassy.

Mandy Moore in Monique Lhuilier
It looks like her top body part is being painted by glitter! But in a good way. This dress is stunning on her.

Worst Dresses

Scarlett Johansson in Dolce and Gabbana
The color is pretty but the lace everywhere gives a granny old looks and it is see through! I can see her bra and panty!

Florence Welch in Valentino
Meh! I don’t know what to say. It is weird, it is granny, It is ‘little house on the prairie’…

Anne Hathaway in Valentino
The necklace is stunning! But something very odd about the dress, whether the fit or the fabric. It looks very stiff and somewhat tacky.

Busy Philipps
Too much, too heavy, too busy.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Calvin Klein
Not a fan of minimalistic/futuristic look.

Helena Bonham Carten in Colleen Atwood
No surprise, Helena always dress like this. That is part of her persona.

Marisa Tomei-Charles James dress from Lily et Cie
The top part is pretty, but the diagonal bottom part makes her look short and stumpy.

Melissa Leo in Marc Bouwer
It looks like an origami and not a pretty one.

Nicole Kidman in Christian Dior
Her hair is a no no for me, the dress makes me confuse, is it supposed to be like a kimono or napkin or something?

Virginia Madsen in Ramona Keveza
Too much, this dress adds an extra weight! Extra thickness.

Undecided ( I don’t know wheter I like it or I hate it )

Reese Witherspoon in Armani Prive
Her hair and makeup is very 60’s, the dress itself is very classy and sophisticated but I don’t know why, it just looks boring.

Jennifer Hudson in Versace
While I admit that Jennifer looks really good lately, I can’t ignore the fact that this dress squishes her boobs into a very weird position. I love the color, but the fabric is cheap looking and not that flattering.

Penelope Cruz in L’wren Scott
I love the color, I love the sequins detail, but I’m not a fan of the silhouette. I think it should be more tight at the bottom part and has a longer tail.

Rhea Durham in Naem Khan
I think it is going to be better if the dress was a solid red or a solid nude with the flower accents.

Amy Adams in L’wren Scott
Is ok, I love the color, I love the ‘Chinese’ feeling from the top part and the necklace. I just think she can do better than this.

Cate Blanchett in Givency Couture
The pearls are gougeous, I just don’t understand about 'circle' and the shoulder.

So who do you think is wearing the best dress at Oscar this year? who is your least favorite? also don't forget to correct my grammar :) See you all soon!
